  • Dorthy Bright

    [B.A. Economics, Philosophy, Claremont McKenna College]

    is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Barrister Executive Suites. Dorthy has over 18 years of finance and accounting experience in commercial real estate. She formerly served as the Regional Controller for Trammell Crow Company overseeing the Orange County and San Diego regions. Prior to joining Barrister, she was the Vice President of Asset Management for CommonWealth Partners, a pension fund partner with CalPERS. /p>

  • Margaret Gunning

    [B.S. Psychology, Certificate of Business Administration, UCLA]

    serves as Executive Vice President and General Manager. Margaret’s responsibilities include all aspects of managing the day-to-day operation of Barrister Executive Suites. She has 20 years experience in the Executive Suite industry, holding positions including Vice President of Operations and Regional Sales Manager. Margaret is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and currently resides in Redondo Beach.

  • Carrie Gates

    currently serves as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Barrister Executive Suites Inc. Her responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the Sales, Marketing, and Leasing efforts for the company's 23 Southern California locations. Carrie has over 17 years industry experience, holding such positions as Director of Sales, Area Leasing Manager, and Suite Manger. Since joining the company in 1990, Carrie has assisted with the acquisitions and dispositions of numerous Centers, and has assisted the company's growth from 11 locations to 23 locations. She consistently achieved Top Sales recognition as a Suite Manager, including several Annual Top Sales Achievement Awards. In 2006, Carrie received the OBCAI Industry Leadership Award, and served as Chairperson for the 2006 OBCAI Education Committee/Strategic Track. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for OBCAI.

    She received her education at Marymount Palos Verdes College, and University of San Diego, with a major in Liberal Studies. She resides in Los Angeles, California with her husband and two daughters.

  • Karen McNamar

    serves as Project Manager. Karen manages all construction, remodels and tenant improvement projects. She also coordinates location openings/closings, company-wide inventory documentation and records storage. With over 35 years experience in both the public and private sectors, Karen is licensed by the State of California as a real estate salesperson.

  • Patrice Harding

    [B.A. English, Loyola Marymount University]

    serves as Director of Human Resources. Patrice's responsibilities include administration of compensation, benefits, payroll, and personnel policies for the company. Prior to joining Barrister in 1997, she served as Financial Development Director for a non-profit organization and managed a small law firm. She previously worked for eight years in Human Resources for a major department store and was a successful residential real estate agent. Patrice has three grown daughters and currently resides in Pacific Palisades.

  • Alain Wittman

    [M.S. Economics, Aix-Marseille, France]

    is the Chief Financial Officer of Barrister Executive Suites. Alain has over 15 years of combined experience in the Property Management and Real Estate Finance. Prior to coming to Barrister, he worked as an Accounting Manager for Trammell Crow Company and oversaw large portfolios of mixed used projects. Currently, he lives with his family in Valencia, California.

  • Jacqueline White

    Serves as Assistant Vice President. Jacqueline has over 15 years in the executive suites industry holding positions such as Manager and Area Manager. Jacqueline's position includes all aspects of operations and leasing. She is also responsible for overseeing the A.R for the company. Jacqueline was born and raised in England. She came to the U.S at 22 years old, and now lives in Santa Monica with her 2 children.
